Ann: Roc-2 Well Update-CVN.AX, page-181

Maersk Logger left Dampier yesterday afternoon headed for the Ocean Monarch. Its last position on the shore based receiver at Dampier ( now 13 hrs old) shows it heading west towards Barrow. There is a satellite received position for a tugs and special craft showing that as rounding Barrow on the ocean side which would then put it heading for Coniston if it is the Maersk Logger. My guess is that the rig is still at Consiton though I cant get anything showing at the coordinates . Anyway, the question is:- when the ML gets to the rig (ETA 6pm local time today) will it be just another routine change over of service vessels or will this be the move. Either way, cant see a spud at Roc 2 happening now until beginning of July.

Question: Does any poster have experience of pre drill tug operations as I am wondering why the ML went to Roc 2 the other day, and then left. Laying anchor points for the rig perhaps?
