yeah, it's a shorters paradise to strip the cash from the lemmings and the same analysts are in the media promoting it (sought of public insider trading).
BHP and RIO are truly global firms and will always be affected by these reactions but realistically most aussie companies have minimal exposure to any of the small economic effects that will result from this decision.
Can anyone really tell me why the price of oil dropped dramatically? Did suddenly supply or demand change in 24 hours - it is just a mirage of blind panic.
