Thanks for finding and posting that link to the recently published Canadian Critical Mineral Strategy.

Quebec and Ontario already appear set, IMO, to overtake Western Australia (and the NT) in the production of lithium, particularly spodumene-sourced, by 2030 and perhaps earlier.

Quebec in particular, not only has a healthy car-manufacturing industry but is perfectly connected via road, rail, river and sea, to the major US battery makers and electric vehicle makers.

This federal-backed Critical Mineral Strategy Strategy has also had an initial $4 billion of funding allocated in the last Canadian federal budget.

Such a strategy shores up confidence that Canada is on track to become, outside of China, the global supplier of choice for critical minerals and the clean digital technologies they enable. I would love to see the Australian Government back our critical minerals in such a strong way.
