I feel a wonderful satisfaction as a geo when I can see the open pits being developed. We geos always believe our interpretations of drill holes when we guess the ore tonnage and pit size.But our readers must often have doubts.

The photos bring the developing mine right into our offices. To be frank with you all, what I have read from last night's report causes me to INCREASE my last ore tonnage estimates. But the scenes are just as I recall them from my four visits to Rocklands since 1966.
