Bauer-7 net oil pay.
Drillsearch Energy (ASX: DLS) and Beach Energy(ASX: BPT) have confirmed the eastern extension of the Bauer oil field in the Cooper Basin with the successful Bauer-7 development well.Wireline logs confirmed that Bauer-7 had intersected 9.5 metres of net pay in the Namur Sandstone and 4 metres of net pay in the McKinlay Formation.Bauer-7 has been cased and suspended as a future oil producer.The rig will now move to drill the Bauer-6 well, which further evaluate the aerial extent of the oil field.The Bauer field has proven to be a winner for Drillsearch, which credits it for most of the 52% increase in production to 30,975 barrels for June 2012 quarter over the March 2012 quarter.This is despite the constraints
