What this system should be able to do on a per table basis is automatically reconcile cash and calculate daily turnover, bit like bank tellers, cashiers etc do at the end of each shift.
The croup starts with a certain balance, the system then picks up the hands and bets placed and calculates takings and what the croup should finish with.

Amongst other things it should be able to pinpoint card counters and of course any other funny business that may be going on.

There are also the high rollers who drop in for a free room and meals (comps) and may be spend 5 minutes at a table and spend $10 bucks.

Don't know about US casinos but in Australia it is a highly regulated environment. So a highly smart system like this will certainly keep the regulators off the operators backs.

As an aside I sort of figured out that this company needs to generate about 50 mill of net cash per year to be at $1 / share assuming a 10% return. Just roughly IMO.
