I’ve always believed that the future of fruit and vege rests with a vertically integrated model. Farm fresh to your door. The current setup up is convoluted with a lot of middle men. The growers, transporters to growers agents on sold and transported to retail and then sold and transported to the consumer. If tech enabled micro growers to have variety and efficiency, this could lead to ROO becoming a market disrupter which is the key driver for an investor.
Cutting out middle men for the retail industry would almost see unmatched price points and re-create the entire industry. Especially if they could drive organic produce, not grown with nasty fertilisers or pesticides. This is the space set for the biggest growth in this market, ROOTZ just needs to ensure they stay focused at this market and be aggressive with it.
