    They have not secured a new "Design Patent.
    Design rights protect the visual appearance of a product, not the functionality.
    "Heat Exchange Technology" is not a product for which they've been awarded a "Certificate of Design Registration".
    The title of the announcement is clearly misleading.
    It's either deliberate or incompetence.
