Ann: Roquefort Therapeutics Announcement and Voluntary Susp, page-6

While I'm in the mood of quoting.... this one also had me raising my eyebrows....

"Anagenics notes an announcement by Roquefort Therapeutics plc (LSE:ROQ) titled “Proposed Sale of Midkine Portfolio” (attached).

[...] Anagenics has an intellectual property license agreement with Lyramid Pty Ltd, which was acquired by Roquefort Therapeutics in late 2021. Under this agreement, Anagenics is entitled to receive royalties from products utilising its midkine intellectual property portfolio. This includes a 4% royalty on net sales of products developed and sold, and an 8% royalty on net sublicensing revenue.

[...] Anagenics has no further details or information regarding Roquefort Therapeutics' midkine antibody licencing deal other than what has been announced. The Company is making further enquiries with Roquefort Therapeutics and will provide further information in accordance with its
continuous disclosure obligations."

Given this significant agreement, isn't it amazing that AN1 has to rely on ROQ making an announcement to the market in order to learn of such a material (to AN1) transaction.

Talk about the Wild West...
