While I've got you both, I wonder whether you (or someone you know) might be interested in a deal...
I've got this investment property firm (it's called "Shell" Properties). We specialise in acquiring all sorts of real estate, but if our target property owners want to stay involved - we may be happy to merge with them instead - but it depends on the terms.
By way of example, let's say you have a property which we agree has a value of say, $1m - we may be happy to acquire that from you by offering you $50k cash and making up the balance by giving you 5 million newly issued shares of "Shell" Properties.
As an aside and, to install some confidence, "Shell" Properties is a really cool firm. In fact, some might say it is so busy doing M&A's it is running around like a zombie...
(BTW, your assumption is right, my tongue was pressed firmly in my cheek as I wrote the above deal ...)
