Remember lads, a big portion of their copper hedges are about to finish, just as copper is showing strength at some ~$1000-1300AUD a tonne more than their hedge prices. Will be interesting to see whether AIS will again hedge a portion of their production for the next 6 months. Locking in an additional $12-15m extra margin for the next 6 months is nothing to sneeze at. Or no hedge, ride the wave and take your chances. Fortune favours the Bold after all. A question I'm sure Andre would be pondering right now.
