The first time the promise was made the market responded as you're suggesting they should and they got burned (yep, me too, most expensive venture of my life). The second time it was more sceptical, no surprises, and the result was equally bad. Given that history, it's quite reasonable to expect a lack of optimism. Based on the track record, failure is more likely than success.

Until we have an actual positive result, the market will remain cautious, and so it should. If we get the positive result you're talking about, yep, things will go bananas and I'll be dancing in the street... probably literally and drunk. Unfortunately, at this stage we would be foolish to be dead sure things will go well. If you have absolute faith in it, bet the house, bet the farm, and you'll have plenty of opportunity to buy in cheap right up until the pudding is proven, 'cause before then the majority of people just aren't going to believe it, and neither should they.

While we're playing games to tease ourselves though, assuming we do get 1,000+ BOPD, what do you think would happen to the share price? Assuming yet another duster, what would you expect? The downside seems pretty bad from here, and the upside seems unlikely.
