Amfil tweet today "This is just one of many big moves slated for the company in 2018 from corporate down to each individual subsidiary. Shareholders can expect numerous subsidiary-specific announcements over the coming weeks ahead"
With recreational marijuana now legal in California, and Amfil setting up a showroom in California (with roto-gro & Gro3) I believe Amfil/Roto-Gro are on the cusp of signing up many big contracts.
A quick rehash of what has already happened with this partnership. You'll need to go back thru my past posts to get the relevant links.
Initially Amfil had an order for 100 machines for a 4000 sq ft part of a 40,000 sq ft facility, the same cultivator has said he'll fit out the remainder & has ordered an extra 216-240 Roto-gro machines (announced by Amfil, but not yet by RGI). The entire 40,000 sq ft would need 1,000 machines. When RGI announced the 100 order, they said they were in negotiations to fit out 150,000 sq ft of non cannabis crops for the same client (on top of the 40k). The client has had his initial inspection from Health Canada and expects the license to be issued by Jan 30. That is when I'd expect further orders. Amfil's CEO in a radio interview said this client was 1 of 10-15 customers they were dealing with past the initial inquiry stage. This was in early October.
Amfil's CEO is conducting another radio interview tonight (US time) It'll be interesting to see what snippets are released.
