The founder and inventor has been working alongside the team developing the automated/fresh produce system and he took a large number of shares in the company in exchange for the IP a couple years back from memory. The CEO, Adam, I believe has a background in engineering of some sort. I've noticed he really perks up when I ask him technical questions and he usually answers in way more detail than I need. Harvesting the crops is fairly simple. They're planted in long, skinny trays which slide in and out of the drum so it's just a matter of sliding a tray/a row of plants out, removing the plants, planting new seeds and then sliding it back in. Of course that's a very undercooked explanation, but you get the idea.
