Imo, once the big-money men realise - or maybe know - a CR is on the way they drive the SP down so they can pick up a bargain. Seen it time and again. The upside is of course that it's only a bargain for them if the SP - eventually - rises substantially. It's not rocket science. But, for us ordinary shareholders, to take advantage of the situation it does demand patience, a steady nerve, some spare cash (if available) and the determination to take the inevitable barrage of down-ramping with a pinch of salt.
