Yours sincerely, Anthony Ho Company Secretary UPDATE – LUMAPANEL SIGNS IN ISTANBUL 7 MAY, 2004 In the Operational Update from the Managing Director for the quarter ended 31 March, 2004, the Company advised that our partner in Turkey, Kiska, had confirmed its intention to move forward with the installation of the signs ordered for the Marmara Hotel in Istanbul. Kiska has today formally advised both an increase in size (an additional 100sqm) of the order for the Marmara Hotel and the order of a further LumaPanel for installation on a second hotel in Istanbul. The signs to be installed atop the Marmara Hotel will now comprise two LumaPanel signs, each of 180 square meters, thus in total encompassing a greater sign area than one side of the signs for 4 Times Square in New York. A further instalment of the purchase price of the signs has been received reflecting the increase in the size and value of this order. This project has proceeded to manufacture. This project is a 50/50 venture with ITOAS, a related company of the Kiska Group, and revenues from the project will be shared 50/50. At this stage, Lumacom and Kiska remain in negotiations with advertisers and thus it is not possible to provide information regarding the final level of advertising which may be achievable from this site, however, our partner in this site has confirmed their confidence that an advertiser will be achieved prior to commissioning of the sign. Installation is scheduled for the September quarter. A further announcement will be made immediately upon a successful conclusion to advertiser negotiations. The 18 story Mamara hotel, situated in prominent in Taksim Square, bridges the two worlds of Europe and Asia. Kiska has also ordered a smaller LumaPanel sign for another hotel in Istanbul which is 36 square meters in size (this sign is approximately half the size of the BGC sign installed in Perth). This sign is currently planned as the corporate branding building signage for that hotel, and as such an outright sale has been agreed for this sign. A substantial deposit has been received prior to the commencement of manufacturing. The sign is currently being scheduled for manufacture, and is also expected to be installed in the September quarter.
