Getting thru toxicity is pretty huge. Remember, all we have really done is try our drug in animals, and in retina in a dish models. From all of this we have a pretty good idea that it works, but the big unknown was what would happen when the human body had a chance to mess with it….. and it didn’t do unexpected stuff. So… yes, HUGE. E&P rewrote their research paper and have raised their price to 34c. It’s a pity we couldn’t get the same 4c uplift and get the price closer to this “ valuation”, but I guess it gives us all a chance to buy a few more.
And my memory suggests the adOA outlicensing options increased significantly with this announcement, if that is the path they follow. There is almost too much going on here to keep track of it. Phase 2 trial starting this q, And I think this annct takes ADOA straight into Ph2 as soon as they can get that going.
