R.B. Mertondale station has Hub and several other GMd areas on it along with the KIN tenements. The Jindalee site is further East on Erlistoun Station not on Nambi.
Nambi is owned by Glencore (Murrin Murrin nickel). Mertondale was bought by Defence as the fibre optic cable that goes to the Jindalee sites, runs along the boundary fence between Mertondale and Nambi. The old Nambi Pits are the only ones on Nambi station.

When defence first took over they came out with an access agreement that was highly restrictive and was also contrary to the WA mining act. Who would have thought Canberra bureaucrats would have got themselves all mixed up! Access was denied to all and sundry without prior approval from Defence. Going out to peg a lease without defence permission would have been illegal! Going to a breakdown on a minesite would have been in breach of the access agreement. Stopping on Nambi Rd. for an urgent toilet break would have required agreement from Defence.

All sorted when the error of their ways was pointed out.

Defence will be leasing the grazing rights to Braemore station when the fencing has been completed.
