CA voting can result in rejection, confirmation, bypass
Gina has gone to the US
Without outright rejection, it will be a bypass
With a bypass, its status quo for now
Gina has to be re-appointed before next resumption of Congress

The gossip:
Gina and her people working very hard to avoid outright rejection
Talk or middle ground on allowing the MICC review

In the meantime:
President publicly supports Gina
Says government can do without mining revenue

Personal take:
In the Philippines, nothing is ever as simple as it looks
With politicians, more so
The Presidents' penchant for direct language is sometimes to send a strong message;
but also to send a more subtle message to a separate audience

Unlike in the case of Yasay, where the CA definitively rejected Yasay,
the CA passed the ax back in the Presidents' hands when it came to Gina
Gina has a large following and it helps the Presidents ratings to support Gina publicly
CA has to take the bull by the horns and reject Gina
The President is not going to do the dirty work for the CA
