I said this well over a year ago - this relationship is/was never fixable. You cannot cure crazy!
Although it has taken some time, I am glad the company has now taken this action - its not going to be nice for a while but at least this will get a result at some stage and there is now, for the first time in a long time, light at the end of the tunnel.
