One of the pleasing things I learnt from the announcement is that they are screening the gravel to ensure that no smaller than 2 carat stones are retained. This makes a big difference to the value of the inventory, compared say to an inventory with 25% stones of 1 to 2 carat, as has previously been speculated.
One of the less pleasing things is the confirmation that the stones suppied by artisanals are of lower quality than those mined by MUS, and that the inventory comprises mainly stones supplied by artisanals.
But the best thing is that we are on track and working towards the short term (October) goal and the longer term goals of viability, licencing and full scale mining.
