Trading update, not company accounts?
You might wish to re-read the MJS post, the point trying to be made, methinks, is about the cheerful pronouncement from ELD, that things are better than last year in NZ.
Notice that nothing said about being profitable, hence his comment on the tendency for ELD's statements being truthful, but verging on the misleading.
Comment on NZ smacks of "filler", to try and inject some appearance of good news, to distract from yet more overall disappointment.
