Overall sales were down two per cent and probably can't be helped given economic conditions including housing starts and renovation activity but when one considers rises in (Australia's) consumer price index and similar metrics overseas, the drops are even worse.
While RWC has a great record of innovation, it is partly hostage to central banks and governments' policies, as well as consumer and business sentiment. In Australia, a recent Freshwater research survey suggested 67 per cent of consumers are very concerned about cost of living and the inability of the Federal government to 'solve' this or bring inflation down.
