A trait of human nature is to be slow to believe an outrageous sum compared to their expectations when they will readily believe a figure they are used to.
The people have suspended belief for the time being.
This means there will be a mad rush when that passes - probably the first quarterly or news item confirming sales of full treatment for around Aussie 2 million bucks. Its a large difference to the early US300g figures mooted the first time they heard ballpark figures - even if some time ago.
