I got the impression Si meant now there are 5 to 10 patients enquiring that want the treatment.
New patients in an intent to treat group of 375, would be onboarding at an average rate of 1 per day. 30% market penetration requires roughly 2 patients per week. 5 to 10 out the door (if it translates to a treatment) is 3 to 4 weeks worth.
On the Investing. There is a vast group of people that would not touch Mesoblast right now with a 10,000 foot pole. The simple reason is the company does not fit the investment profile. No income is simply a non starter for the vast majority of people who are not interested in big returns, but more interested in guaranteed low risk returns.
Next month when the sales commence and finally MSB has an income which can be measured, predicted, assessed and is quantifiable, that huge majority who never considered investing in such a high risk stock, can suddenly plug in an income value, and have the option of investing. Some will probably even wait longer than that, for 2 consecutive growth quarters, or even a 12 month sales run before deciding if this income is real or temporary. If it's real then we can expect great things IMO.
It all starts with next months' sales. 30% penetration we need about 8 patients next month, assuming a March 1 go live date. 100% penetration would be just over 30 patients.
