this was following the auction yesterday
I would put it to you that they are some CR participants trying to get out above 2.5 as best as they can. If they can get the price up as far as they can above 2.50 and let the bid ladder build up above 2.50, then they can more easily dump large amounts of volume at a more desirable price. Probably pulled the trigger on a lot of volume at once as the ASX dipped steeper into red territory too.
