The Mesoblast communication with shareholders is infuriating at times. Often hinting, insinuating, teasing but rarely just providing the clear simple answers that shareholders and analysts are seeking. As seen with the Q&A yesterday.
-If they are still negotiating with insurance companies fine, we understand it's complex and insurance companies are tough negotiators.
-If they haven't treated any patients yet, just say so and provide some guidance.
-If partnership deals are no longer 'advanced' or 'imminent'... just update us. We can respect management not rolling-over without maximizing partnership value ( if that is the reason for delay)
They don't need to give away strategic secrets, just be open and honest. I suspect shareholders and the market in general are a lot more forgiving and understanding if management are transparent and sincere.
* for people on Twitter etc. I'd recommend rather than venting here, politely ask the questions directly of Dr Itsecu. Even if he doesn't provide a response, he'll get message that investors expect more clarity.
