This is peak HotCopper here - guesswork and supposition.

It's absolutely impossible at this early stage to put any figures at all on Ryoncil.

$1 billion - Why? How?

At present there is a market of up to 300 kids - there is no off-label for age or conditions.

And as such, it's impossible to even try to guess what the potential for Ryoncil is.

Currently - we have treated 0 kids, and have 0 agreed insurance coverage.

If that insurance block stays the same, I'd say we would be lucky to sell 10 lots of treatment in a financial year.


Get them all on board and you can start to extrapolate some figures.

300 x $1,500,000 USD could be the maximum, but this is treating a disease and as such you can only base things on past numbers of blood borne cancers, not how many people MIGHT develop the disease.

There could be a cure. There could be a massive spike due to unknown carcinogens in imported foodstuffs causing cases to exponentially quadruple.

The point is - no-one knows the future.


Until the insurers sign off on paying $1.5 mil per treatment cycle (which will take a lot of prodding and pushing) there will be very little revenue.


Pulling a 60% profit figure out of thin air when having no idea of the 'market' size or funding is ridiculous.
