Not that it really matters now, whatever happens will just happen.
AIMO.
What I will say though is this is pretty much a joke: My view is they are very uncomfortable and looking to point the finger at anyone but themselves. The language in this is scary from that perspective. It's like Westpac coming out and going "it was our customers, not us".
"Diverted the Company's focus" - to what? Their FIRST ever cost cutting exercise (to my knowledge). Hasn't this scoping study been a focus for the last 2 years? Along with the IPO? see: https://www.vanadisbm.com/governance That was a flash in the pan.
I wonder how much of shareholder wealth was used on that one. But then perhaps the scoping study will support the IPO? Oh wait, suing the Swedish government probably won't go down so well on the back page of a IPO prospectus.... It's like putting up a for sale sign on a house with a disclaimer "pending court case, offers welcome, prices are down, good luck with that uranium you'll have to put back in the ground!"
And just in case they haven't got the memo, no one actually wants vanadium. On twitter they are celebrating low prices in the hope that low prices increases it's usage and the world wants it. I mean, I get the economics (sort of, it works for TVs) but really, clutching at straws?
Didn't they come up with the idea of the IPO when prices were high? I'm confused now, are low commodity prices better than high?Is that what FMG, RIO, BHP want? Lower iron ore prices so they sell more? The lithium producers? Gold, nickel, silver, tin, lead, zinc?
I can't remember any timeline these guys have ever met? Perhaps their ongoing commitment to raise new funds to pay their salaries, they always met that one I guess.
Anyway, they did get the DFS out but was 'pending some more economic' water sources so I'm not sure it counts. Anyway, this is all IMO. It sounds like a rant. Bought this one a long time ago.
It's been a waste of capital (lost opportunity) in many ways. I'm so far down I don't mind whichever way it goes. A lesson in calculating board / executive remuneration compared to MC. I hope it comes good, much depends on the price of Uranium, a Swedish court case and apparently their shareholders just leaving them to their own devices........
This is their cost cutting plan:
Numbers for illustration purposes only.
Previous Salary: 500k per year
Plan: I'm gonna work 2.5 days a week
Savings: I just saved you 250K a year
AIMO. All the best everyone.
