troutfisho - I have looked at the anomolous trading in CXSOA from every angle. . . . and I do know my way around takeovers rules pretty well.
I have also spoken to the CXS CFO about it.
We are in agreement that the buyers look to be tearing up $100 dollar bills. There is just NO leverage to be gained from taking a small but meaningful position in the options.
This deal will go through, and the buyer of CXSOA will get a return of 2 cents on each option. . . . having paid up to 25 cents.
I went hard at CXS again yesterday at 63 cents (having sold out at 67.5 on announcement of the takeover) and now have as many as I can afford to carry.
