S/A: GFF: ACCC Not To Oppose Proposed Acquisition
Goodman Fielder acknowledges the announcement by the Australian Competition
and Consumer Commission today that it will not oppose the proposed
acquisition of Goodman Fielder by Wilmar International Limited ("Wilmar") and
First Pacific Company Limited ('First Pacific") via a Scheme of Arrangement.
Goodman Fielder advises that Wilmar and First Pacific are continuing to
progress the regulatory approvals required in connection with the Scheme of
Arrangement, as outlined in the Company's ASX/NZX announcement of 8
September.
Goodman Fielder will continue to keep shareholders updated on any material
developments.
