Information for security holders who have paid the Final Instalment

MELCA's NZX code has changed to MEL and MEZCA's ASX code changed to MEZ on 30
April 2015.
Today (21 May 2015) shares have been transferred to paying instalment receipt
holders.
From tomorrow (22 May 2015), security holders who have paid the final
instalment and to whom shares have been transferred, will be able to trade on
a "normal" trading basis on the NZX Main Board and on the ASX. If you traded
shares prior to this date you will have traded in the deferred settlement
period, trades during which will settle on 27 May 2015.
Security holders who have paid the final instalment will be sent transaction
statements on 25 May 2015 confirming they are fully paid holders.

Information for security holders who have not paid the Final Instalment

The Final Instalment of $0.50 per instalment receipt was due on or before
5.00 p.m. on Friday 15 May 2015.
Instalment Receipt holders who were registered holders of instalment receipts
in MEL / MEZ as at the close of the register on 4 May 2015 and failed to pay
the final instalment by 15 May 2015 have not received their shares.
A missed payment deadline notice has been sent to those holders who have not
paid their final instalment and is attached.
The Crown has granted an extension of the payment period to allow for those
holders who have not paid to make cleared payment of all outstanding amounts
by 5.00pm (NZST) Friday 29 May 2015.

This should be actioned as a matter of urgency.  If payment of cleared funds
is not received by this date, then those securities and rights attached to
them (including entitlements to distributions and voting rights) may be
suspended, and the securities forfeited and sold by the Trustee in accordance
with the Trust Deed (with any such sales able to commence from Wednesday 3
June 2015).

The Crown will receive the proceeds of the final instalment.  None of the
proceeds will be received by Meridian.
