Offer for up to 125,000 Nuplex shares

Nuplex Industries Limited is aware that Zero Commission Limited has written
to a number of holders of smaller parcels of Nuplex shares with an offer to
purchase up to a total of 125,000 shares at NZ$2.30 per share ("Offer").

It is noted that the Offer price is considerably less than the current market
price for Nuplex shares and, accordingly, Nuplex does not recommend or
endorse the Offer and considers that it is not in the best interests of
shareholders.
