The point here is that shifting the focus away from Australia and restructuring the company in Finland is not something I would support. Australia, Western Australia, and Queensland are excellent areas for the company. Roseby is still the focus for Altona, and Finland is the means of getting there.

    But this doesn't mean I am comfortable with the apparent lack of action in the company, and the desultory SP. the copper price has suffered a temporary reversal and this is not encouraging in the short term. the company needs to give an update as to the direction of their actions and strategy for Roseby.

    The positive earnings from Finland and the strong financial position of the company, give it security and hence security for our investment, but we also need evidence of progress. Static investments are a waste.

    Altona is in danger of dying from a 'thousand cuts'. Each one small and imperceptible, but cumulatively they are significant.
