It means that index managers benchmarked to the ASX200 will sell KGN on or around 17 Dec. Deletions tend to underperform going into the announcement, which makes sense because it's pretty much the reason they get dropped, but also tend to underperform somewhat after the announcement and implementation. It's all temporary though as the fundamentals matter much more than some short term liquidity imbalance.
