At the risk of copping some zealous heat; this is usually not great in the short term. The fund will sell the stock and we'll see a dip from the sell-off. A stock like this though - who knows.

yep, rise in chip stocks today and that may account for the rise today but now being pulled from S&P won't be tagging along the same index
