Those 'New Wave' states weren't even trending down before reopening, now, that change in trajectory from Memorial Day pretty much tells us everything we need to know about how dangerous these markets are right now. As said if they were immediately locking down those regions there may be some hope, but with re-openings continuing, arguments about mandating masks etc etc regrettably many of those areas don't stand a chance. I'm worried too about places like California - it shares its borders with Oregon, Nevada and Arizona - all experiencing record rises. I'm finding the statements from the medical professionals staffing the hospitals and medical centers in these regions to be much better evidence as to what is happening over there, as opposed to the rubbish put out by Trump, Pence and various Republican governors. Arizona close to hospital/ICU capacity, Texas recording dangerous record increases in hospitalizations. My pick is some form of renewed lock-downs within 4 weeks - look at the carnage is just the previous 4 weeks...
