The company has been removed from the ASX300. The ASX300 is an index of the top 300 companies on the ASX. This is determined by several factors, one of which is market cap. The significance of the announcement is that some investment firms won't invest in companies outside of the ASX300, ASX200, ASX100 and ASX50.
