Hi Rusty, I am sure there will be an interest rate hike in the coming months but it is not guaranteed for this Tuesday.
Yes, the share market will react to the fear of an interest rate hike but CXO is a debt-free company and has been deft free for the last 5 years; therefore, an interest rate hike in the future will not affect the shareholder's return if investors do know the financial position of the CXO.
If Pilbara Mineral's shares are trading around the $3.00 mark today, CXO share price will reach close to there when it starts to produce Li Q4 of this financial year. I believe, down ramping may not help.
