How much cash and how profitable given the recent lithium price slump, which shows no sign of turning around?
I posted somewhere else today about the headwinds that we will face as a producers. The lithium demand, I agree with. The concern is the extra supply coming from Africa, Chinese Lepidolite and now Brazil, Zimbabwe and other jurisdictions are coming online. The unknown is how much of that supply will be around for as those jurisdictions are opaque with data. But you can see even LLL will be coming online soon supplying with a much lower cost curve than us at LTR.
Australian producers will be struggling with a high cost base, look at CXO. Albemarle has put expansions on hold at their Kemerton plant as well.
Our Capex is fairly significant. We have all the new shiny toys, but very expensive.
