Ok, so time is a factor in making the ASX 300, it’s based on the average daily market cap over 6 months as well as a liquidity factor (daily traded value). In addition to this, RAC needs to beat number 274 (I estimate RAC exceeded around $2.80-3) on the 300, and 179 on the 200 to meet the criteria for addition to the index.
