A very positive move for IOU, congrats all holders!

I did a little bit of a search and found that the total market cap of all constituents of all tech index is around $170B+, the current mc of IOU is $0.24B and its weight in the index is at around 0.142%. The only ETF that is tracking this index atm is Betashares S&P/ASX Australian Technology ETF (ATEC). Its current mc is around $183.7M, which means to rebalance its holdings to reflect the index adjustment, the fund managers potentially will need to purchase around $270K worth of IOU shares, at the price on last Wed, it's about 700K units.
(This is just a simplified calculation based on the index weighting method).

At this ratio (700K vs 551.41M outstanding), it will not have a big impact as expected on the SP IMO, but it will definitely increase the exposure of IOU and attract more attention from the investors. Still a very important milestone!

The mc is the key to increase the units for the compulsory purchase from the funds. If the mc of IOU can increase to 20x, then over 15M of shares will need to purchased by the fund managers, which could be a real SP sensitive ann. Currently, there is only one ETF tracking the index and its mc is less than IOU, so I'd say it will probably not make a big change to the SP really.

It's still the fundamentals and the growth of the company that plays a key role in the SP movement. It's still looking very promising for the long run. All IMHO.
