So with Monday only a weekend away I thought I would play a little game called what might happen on Monday. There have been a number of posters stating that they would be taking advantage of the admission to the ASX 300 to buy BRN in their superannuation funds. Taking the 40-44 age group the average balance across both sexes is $116,782. Brainchip has around 30,000 shareholders. If just one percent of this 30,000 which is 300 shareholders fall in the 40-44 age bracket and this 300 determined to buy up to the 20% of the above balance which is $23,356.40 x 300 that would be $7,006,920 dollars extra liquidity on the buy side on Monday morning.

That is just one percent of the available pool of shareholders and does not allow for those who might have much larger balances. For example one of our determined posters suggested yesterday they were 5 years from retirement which could put them in the 50-54 age group and increase the average balance in superannuation to $200,597.50 and lift the 20% to $40,119.50 which multiplied by 300 would be $12,035,850 additional liquidity.

So just a game but who knows what will happen on Monday but it will be very interesting to see what takes place in my opinion.

Don't forget, there will also be the possibility that some will take up the opportunity buy more via margin lending.
