affect of being added to indexes is dependant in each company circumstances.
not aimed at you but it seems a lot of people think it’s a one way street that being added to an index means more buying. But they forget that anyone who can buy can also sell. Yes there is often initial buying to add to their portfolios. But if company has gotten in there on unrealistic mc then they can be prime target for shorting and sell offs. The big guys make money on the way up and down, so they aren’t shy to push a company back down but it’s means retail takes a hit.

I think agy will be ok. We aren’t massively overvalued and have good prospects for near term revenue generation.

but if you look at some of the companies added to asx300 and 200 with $billion+ mc based on potential and little to no revenue to support it, they usually get smashed. Look at likes of imu for example.

don’t know why there is so much nervousness on the agy threads, there’s a lot of market drivers going in which have nothing to do with agy, and we are doing relatively ok, with good near term prospects of progress to propel sp when markets improve.
