I've lived this within a FTSE 100 index as a C suite exec. One is better off being 20 positions out of an index like this than just hanging on within its boundaries.

Funds sell you down when they see you likely to leave and don't give much upside when it enters. When a stock enters an index it needs to get quickly some headroom within that index or be traded and have a lot is swings and ups and downs - not good for shareholders in my opinion.

and Credit Suisse played havoc shorting us. Let’s hope for
better this time.
