I have no doubt BB or a variety of other canny retailers (I'm sure Solly would do wonders) could turn this ship around.

The problem now is that having come from a situation where they had access to plenty of Capital during the good times their balance sheet is now looking stretched during a rough period, potentially heading into an even rougher period.

So instead of being in a position (with sufficient funds) to get set for the new season with fresh stock their last update sounded a bit like they're playing pass the parcel with older stock. Not sure how that's gonna play out.

I agree with holders that (imho only) the underlying value of the business is more than current market capitalisation. They MAY be able to trade out of this without a Capital Raising but I think the odds are increasing that they'll need Capital from somewhere. I also think there's now a risk they'll damage the business in the interim by not investing in new (fresh) lines.

So yeah, while the business will probably recover at some point I'm now concerned that instos or certain individuals will get the majority of the spoils via some sort of placements. I had expected to buy back in around here, that's the only reason I've held off.

This isn't any sort of prediction or wish (just my personal opinion). I'd be quite happy for current holders if there's a bidding war for the business starting Monday. Good luck to all holders.
