My first thought was, yes it's a good thing. My second thought was, until a mine officially closes own you can't operate without critical staff like EH&S or Admin superintendents... company has no choice but to recruit replacements for the staff that are leaving right (go to jail for directors if someone dies because required safety staff were not replaced and things got unsafe). Maybe the right question is not why are they still hiring, but why are senior staff leaving?
Still got a heartbeat though, we live in hope. GLTAH
