Also just wondering why the rebalance gives 2 weeks advance notice of the change. As we saw with the elevation of WBT into the 200, there is opportunity for brokers / investment banks to profit buying up early to sell to the index funds which seemingly constitutes price manipulation in the lead up to the rebalance date. Maybe not a major issue as all the big boys know what is happening well before the retail sector. Even if there was no lead time, there would be leaky ships right through the financial sector as they all look after their own interests to the detriment of the retail guy.
