Did a look back at CXO and SYA entry to ASX300 in March...

Did a look back at CXO and SYA entry to ASX300 in March 2022.

It's hard to isolate the effect of entry to the ASX300 on it's own because in March 2022, lithium was booming with all time high lithium prices.

Some things I noted:

- Volumes tended to be slightly higher on average once the ASX300 ANN date dropped (see volume profile images below)
- Volumes tended to be higher again upon actual entrance to the ASX300 (see volume profile images below)
- There is a very large spike in volume on the last day before entry to the ASX300 (likely after market rebalancing transactions)
- Both CXO and SYA share prices went higher - but I don't think we can conclude this was simply due to ASX300 entry.

- If someone really wants a @Roch2077 level pump - take a look at LKE who also entered the 300 in March 2022 - their share price went ballistic by about 150% over 1 month...
