agreed. it's absurd. Vais sold 5% of Capital Smart to Suncorp in 2018 for $15 mil., a $300 mil. valuation for the entire thing. Then AMA paid $400 mil. to Suncorp., roughly 20x EBITDA. then during Covid Suncorp somehow got out of their end of the deal, breaking all of the protections that AMA paid for, scuttling annual price reviews in favor of a 3 year fixed pricing. all done without a word to shareholders. AMA should sue Suncorp and everyone else involved for the entire $400 mil.
